• Surrounded by plenty of BLM land and the Uncompahgre National Forest, which comprises over a million acres, Naturita is an ideal destination for hunting and watching wildlife.
• Additionally, the community's proximity to the Dolores River makes it a popular spot for fishing and rafting.
• Quiet camping spots are located at the nearby Buckeye and Miramonte Reservoirs.
• In Naturita, visitors will find an inn, a cafe, gas station, a few motels and a grocery store.
• There is also a remodeled visitors center that will help point guests in the right direction.

• Just down Colorado 90 is the historic Bedrock Store, where scenes from movies such as Thelma and Louise were filmed.
• Moab, Utah with additional climbing, camping and hiking opportunities is only 80 miles away.
