About Us
Search Colorado Communities was created by
the Colorado Rural Health Center’s Provider Recruitment Program (CPR) to
help medical providers explore communities throughout Colorado, in search of
their perfect home. This interactive map-based site links to communities all
throughout Colorado. Every effort has been made to include every town that
has a medical clinic, as well as some other communities we thought might be
of interest to you in your exploration of our state. Information included
should help give you a feel for the town, its medical community, lifestyle,
and surrounding areas. You can “hop” around the map from town to town,
seeing what characteristics catch your interest, and what matches you and
your family’s preferences the closest.
CPR was started July 1, 2001, by the Colorado Rural Recruitment and
Retention Network (CoRRRN). CoRRRN is a statewide network of organizations
created in 1996 to identify, track, and address health professional
shortages in rural Colorado. CPR is administered by the Colorado Rural
Health Center, and offers a variety of recruitment and retention-related
services to both communities searching for healthcare providers, as well as
providers who wish to practice in rural or underserved communities. We hope
these pages will help you learn about the communities we are serving, and
